Tradebe are looking for a Mechanical Operative for our busy site in Winfrith, Dorset.

Main Purpose of Job

The primary role of the Maintenance Operative will include general and construction maintenance works and installations as part of the Maintenance team.

The role

  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date job card (PPM) and database records to an auditable standard using the on-site management system
  • Raising and reporting defects and deficiencies immediately to line management as part of your PPM duties and activities
  • React to and investigate reported defects using the site’s internal reporting system
  • Reviewing contractors RAMS, booking in and supervising contractors on site ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures
  • Assisting in the completion of legionella, water effluent and environmental monitoring including the transfer of liquid effluent when required
  • Ensuring the compound areas and road network are maintained (with the assistance of contractors) in a clean and tidy state including skips, car parks, storage facilities and environmental protection equipment
  • Assisting in the collection and co-ordination of equipment that requires testing and calibration

We offer

  • Salary from £32,000 - £37,000
