The Commercial Insight Analyst will play a critical role in optimizing revenue generation by analysing sales and quotation processes, focusing on speed of quotation delivery, and ensuring compliance with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) protocols. Specialising in the hazardous waste disposal industry, the role requires a keen eye for identifying patterns, streamlining sales processes, and enhancing customer experience through timely, accurate quotes and CRM adherence.  In addition to the above you will be tasked with the following:

 

•    Revenue Analysis & Reporting
•    Speed of Quotation Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to improve the speed and accuracy of the quotation process, ensuring quotes for hazardous waste disposal services are delivered swiftly while adhering to regulatory and safety standards.
•    CRM Adherence & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to CRM protocols, maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer information, sales progress, and follow-ups, while optimizing CRM usage for team efficiency.
•    Process Improvement
•    Sales Team Collaboration
•    Market & Competitor Analysis
•    Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor KPIs related to revenue growth, quotation times, CRM usage, and customer satisfaction, reporting these regularly to senior management.
•    Data Integrity
•    Customer Insights: Utilize CRM data to analyse customer behaviour, preferences, and feedback, presenting insights that can shape future sales strategies.
 

Do you have what it takes?

•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, or a related scientific field.  Relevant certifications in CRM or data analysis are a plus.
•    Good experience in an analytics role or equivalent, preferably in a B2B environment. Experience in hazardous waste disposal or environmental services is a strong advantage.
•    Proficiency in CRM software (SAP Cloud) and data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.) is essential. 
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on improving speed and efficiency.
•    Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
•    Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
•    Ability to handle sensitive and complex data with confidentiality.
•    Ability to manage multiple stakeholders with conflicting agendas.
