The Assistant Bid Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the Commercial and Sales teams in securing new business opportunities. This role focuses on writing, content creation and management, contributing to the development and enhancement of high-quality proposals, tenders, and sales materials. Reporting to the Bids Projects Manager, the Assistant Bid Manager will also assist in maintaining and improving sales toolkits, participate in bid management training, and support storyboarding sessions for tender responses. In addition you will be involved with (but not limited to) the following:
• Bid Project Management: Assist in the management of bid and tender projects in collaboration with the Bid Project Manager, sales team and other project stakeholders.
• Content Creation and Management: Create compelling and high-quality written content for tenders, proposals, and sales documents.
• Bid Writing and Coordination: Support the development of bid strategies and key messaging in collaboration with the Bids Projects Manager
• Toolkits and Resources: Assist in maintaining and updating toolkits for the sales team, including templates, presentations, and other resources
• Tender Portals Management: Regularly monitor tender portals for new opportunities, ensuring alignment with the company’s capabilities and objectives.

Do you have what it takes?
• Strong writing skills, with a background in media studies, journalism, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Publisher or willingness to learn.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage input from multiple stakeholders.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
• Experience in bid writing, marketing, or content management.
• Knowledge of tendering processes and the commercial sales cycle.
• Creative and strategic thinking skills to enhance the quality of bid submissions.
