Tank Farm Operator - Mid-Shift

As a Tank Farm Operator, you'll play a critical role in the safe handling, movement, and storage of materials throughout our facility. This hands-on position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in an industrial environment, takes pride in operating safely, and wants to contribute to a team that helps protect the environment through responsible waste management and recycling.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, transfer, and move materials between tanks, tankers, trucks, and railcars while following established operating procedures.
• Operate, monitor, and perform basic maintenance on pumps, valves, storage tanks, and other process equipment to support daily operations.
• Conduct routine inspections, sampling, and compatibility testing to ensure safe and compliant material handling.
• Maintain accurate records, track processed materials, and support daily operational and compliance activities.
• Promote a strong culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) by following regulatory requirements, maintaining a clean work area, and supporting facility compliance programs.

Do you have what it takes?

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• One year of hazardous waste industry experience is desirable
• Working knowledge of DOT/RCRA regulations a plus
• One year Tank Farm experience is a plus
• Forklift operations experience
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check, are required
• Ability to work the schedule for which you are hired for
• Ability to work on-site as described in the job description
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
