Proposals Manager

As a Proposals Manager at Tradebe Environmental Services, you will manage the full lifecycle of RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs. This role partners with internal departments across the business, and other commercial teams to deliver timely, accurate, and compliant proposal submissions. Success in this role supports long-term business growth through strategic bid execution and contract management.
Experience and knowledge with hazardous waste management is required.
Key Job Responsibilities
Proposal & Bid Management
- Lead full-cycle development and submission of RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, including clarifications, best and final offers, vendor qualifications, and final editions.
- Ensure awarded bids are communicated and handed off to internal stakeholders.
- Track pending submissions and executed contracts through completion.
Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with sales, legal, operations, and strategy teams to align content, pricing, and contract terms.
- Conduct proposal reviews with leadership; serve as the main point of contact for proposal-related updates and escalate delays when needed.
Financial & Pricing Strategy
- Conduct financial analysis and develop pricing models aligned with bid requirements and sales strategies.
- Review competitor pricing, internal estimates, and contract terms; document and communicate financial decisions.
Compliance, Content & Quality
- Ensure proposals meet legal, commercial, and customer requirements.
- Maintain a proposal content library tailored to haz/non-haz environmental services.
Project & Process Improvement
- Manage proposal timelines, responsibilities, and deadlines.
- Continuously refine processes, templates, and strategies based on feedback and market trends.
Do you have what it takes?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Math, or related field required.
- Previous experience managing bids, proposals, or large contracts highly preferred.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations (e.g., RCRA, waste profiling).
- Knowledge of bid/proposal management practices.
- Experience with CLM or contract management systems.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and financial skills.
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and cross-functional priorities.
- Experience with risk assessment, bid negotiation, and compliance.

- Finally, candidates will be scheduled for a virtual interview via Teams with 1-4 team members representing critical stakeholders for the role.
