Mobile Mechanic -1st Shift - $1500 sign on bonus

The Opportunity

In this role, the selected candidate will perform maintenance mechanical on mobile equipment throughout an industrial plant. 

Key Job Responsibilities

• Maintenance technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventative maintenance to a variety of equipment throughout the facility, buildings and grounds.  This includes rotating and reciprocating, hydraulic and pneumatic systems including conveyors, gear boxes, cylinders augers, etc. Ability to work in elevated and difficult positions may be required.  
• Will be providing maintenance on mobile equipment in the plant including diesel forklifts
• This will be a first shift position but candidate may be required to work 2nd shift in the future.
• Document work performed and materials used into computerized work order management system.
• Search work orders in a computerized work order management system.
• Articulate findings during maintenance inspections, create work orders when necessary.
• Safely operate lift trucks, telehandler, boom lift and other mobile equipment when required.
• Ability to work independently or a team setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Two years of industrial experience
• Experience doing maintenance work of diesel equipment like forklifts
• A basic set of tools and a valid driver’s license
• Ability to work any shift; be available on call; and the ability to work in elevated and difficult positions, are required
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check, are required
