Job Summary
As a Mobile Equipment Maintenance Mechanic with Tradebe, you will perform a variety of maintenance tasks on mobile equipment at the plant, including forklifts, backhoes, and trackhoes. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining diesel-powered equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all regulations, standards, and internal policies, to ensure Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and promote a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all plant mobile equipment including forklifts, backhoes and trackhoes.
- Maintain an inventory of spare parts for mobile equipment.
- Adhere to the maintenance budget.
- Repair all equipment in a timely manner.
- Ensure preventive maintenance program is in compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Do you have what it takes?
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- Previous experience working in an industrial environment
- Previous experience working on and operating mobile equipment, back hoe, track hoe, fork trucks
- Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of mobile equipment
Other Requirements:
- Must possess a valid Drivers license
- Must have own tools
