The Opportunity

  • Base Pay: $18.50/hr 
  • Shift: 1st - Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

The Opportunity

As a Solids Consolidation Operator at Tradebe, your role involves overseeing the movement and transfer of outgoing shipments at the designated plant for off-site disposal.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area. 
  • Prepare end dumps and roll-off boxes, ensuring proper lining and caulking for waste processing. 
  • Obtain heavy equipment certification, including the safe operation of rotating forklifts. 
  • Load roll-offs and end dumps responsibly and securely. 
  • Safely open drums and boxes for processing, ensuring they are compliant and empty
  • Accurately track processed drums and maintain correct processing paperwork. 
  • Ensure compliance with EH&S policies, regulations, and hazardous waste permit requirements. 
  • Assist in area compliance activities, such as managing aisle space and addressing unstable stacking. 
  • Independently operate backhoes and track hoes. 
  • Communicate daily production accomplishments effectively through production threads and end-of-shift reports. 
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience 
  • One year of hazardous waste industry experience is desirable  
  • Working knowledge of DOT/RCRA regulations a plus 
  • Forklift experience, a plus 
  • Backhoe or Trackhoe experience is desirable 
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check, are required 
  • Ability to work required shift 
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
