Customer Success Team Manager

Join our team as a Customer Success Team Manager and lead a group of dedicated professionals who ensure exceptional service for our customers. You’ll play a key role in training, mentoring, and optimizing processes that keep our customers happy and our business growing.
Key Job Responsibilities
Training & Development
- Lead and mentor a team of Customer Success and Experience professionals.
- Train and onboard new team members on systems, processes, and best practices.
- Ensure team operates at peak efficiency through coaching and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Account Managers to onboard new customers and promote portal adoption.
Customer Engagement & Compliance
- Proactively engage with customers to prevent issues and ensure satisfaction.
- Review profiles and manifests for compliance with DOT and RCRA regulations.
- Serve as a resource for troubleshooting, profile changes, and special requests.
Business Growth
- Understand full scope of service offerings to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Build strong customer relationships and collaborate with Sales to meet evolving needs.
- Analyze customer trends and develop action plans to improve retention and growth.
Customer & Sales Partnership
- Act as liaison between customers and internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Escalate critical concerns and ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with Sales to deliver a seamless, positive customer experience.
Performance Metrics & Continuous Improvement
- Track team performance and share insights for coaching and process optimization.
- Participate in business reviews and provide customer-facing reports.
- Identify automation opportunities and implement efficiency improvements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Do you have what it takes?
- Bachelor’s degree required; 8+ years in customer success or service roles, preferably in environmental services.
- 5+ years of experience managing teams and driving process improvements.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of RCRA regulations and waste profiling is highly desirable.
- Ability to work on-site with occasional travel.
