Commercial Contract Manager

As the Commercial Contract Manager, you will lead a team that develops competitive proposals and manages the full contract lifecycle for customers across all Tradebe US Environmental Services business lines. This role serves as the Commercial Leader for contracting, ensuring compliance, alignment with company goals, and collaboration with Sales, Legal, and Operations. It’s a key opportunity for an experienced professional in the Environmental Services industry who thrives on strategy, leadership, and building processes that drive growth and long-term success.

 

Key Job Responsibilities

 

Proposals Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Proposals Team to strengthen quality, efficiency, and win rates
  • Oversee the proposal development process, ensuring customer-focused, competitive submissions
  • Standardize and improve proposal templates, processes, and best practices

 

Contract Management

  • Oversee contract preparation, negotiation, and execution across all US business lines
  • Partner with Legal and Commercial teams to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate contract records and lead adoption of the contract lifecycle management system
  • Implement process improvements to strengthen contracting standards and efficiency

 

Strategic Leadership

  • Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing insights that drive growth and profitability
  • Build relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation
  • Develop and support a high-performing team through coaching and mentorship

Do you have what it takes?

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in proposals and contract management, including leadership roles
  • Proven background in Environmental Services or Waste Materials Management (required)
  • Strong business acumen with expertise in navigating commercial and legal considerations
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience managing teams and implementing process improvements
  • Knowledge of RCRA and waste profiling preferred

 

This is a home-based, full-time position with up to 10% travel.
