Wastewater Treatment Operator

- Available Shift: Weekends (Fri, Sat, Sun) overnight shift 7pm to 7am
The Opportunity
As a Waste Water Treatment Operator with Tradebe, you will be responsible for the safe and compliant operation of the wastewater treatment system for your given shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Transfer wastewaters from vehicles to tanks.
- Transfer material between tanks.
- Operate the facility’s clarifier and filter-press.
- Sample tanks and trucks.
- Operate laboratory instrumentation.
- Calibrate facility instrumentation.
- Perform periodic inspections.
- Keep accurate logs (according to OSHA standards and requirements)
- Ensure all work follows Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) rules by complying with regulations, company policies, and safety standards while promoting a safe and eco-friendly workplace.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or the equivalent in work experience
Skills:
- Ability to work alone with limited supervision
- Forklift experience is preferred
- Previous working knowledge of pumps is preferred
Other Requirements:
- Must obtain a Grade 1 Industrial Wastewater Treatment license for the state you are operating in
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background Check
- State Wastewater Treatment License is preferred
