The Opportunity

As a Wastewater Treatment Operator at Tradebe, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the safe and compliant operation of our wastewater treatment systems. This is a great opportunity for individuals with mechanical aptitude and an interest in environmental operations. If you already hold a state wastewater treatment license, your skills are especially valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Transfer wastewater from incoming vehicles to appropriate tanks

• Move materials between tanks using facility systems

• Operate the clarifier and filter-press to treat wastewater

• Sample tanks and truck contents and operate lab instrumentation

• Calibrate monitoring equipment to ensure accurate readings

• Perform routine facility inspections and maintain accurate logs

• Follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards and procedures

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or the equivalent in work experience

Skills: 

• Ability to work alone with limited supervisión
• Forklift experience is preferred
• Previous working knowledge of pumps is preferred  

Other Requirements: 

• Must obtain a Grade 1 Industrial Wastewater Treatment license for the state you are operating in
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background Check
• State Wastewater Treatment License is preferred
