Schedule: 8am-5pm (M-F)
What will you do? Make an impact!
The Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and maintaining wastewater treatment processes to ensure efficient, compliant, and cost-effective operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in wastewater treatment systems and industrial plant equipment, with a strong focus on process optimization.
This role requires a mechanically inclined problem-solver who can work independently while collaborating with operations teams. The successful candidate will be able to conceptualize, communicate, and implement process improvements that enhance system performance and operational efficiency.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Monitor, evaluate, and optimize wastewater treatment processes for efficiency and compliance.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance system performance.
- Identify inefficiencies related to throughput volumes and develop processes to stabilize plant operations while maximizing efficiencies.
- Assist in implementing operating procedures to improve system performance and reliability.
- Operate and monitor biological systems to ensure its health, and optimize performance.
- Provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams to enhance process effectiveness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues to minimize downtime.
- Prepare reports and documentation on process performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and quality standards.
- Assist in managing processes that promote the health and safety of employees.
Do you have what it takes?
- 3-5 years experience with industrial wastewater treatment preferred
- Knowledge of the hazardous waste industry is a plus.
- Experience working in SAP
