Job Title: Credit Controller
Location: Marlow (Hybrid - 3 days in the office, 2 days from home)

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our Finance team in Marlow. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portion of the sales ledger and reducing overdue balances through effective credit control practices. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and prior experience in a similar role to make a real impact in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively chase overdue balances with external customers
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy
• Allocate customer payments efficiently and accurately
• Maintain up-to-date customer contact information
• Conduct credit risk assessments for prospective new customers
• Resolve queries by liaising with internal stakeholders, including Account Managers and Customer Service Representatives, in a timely manner
• Monitor and action items in the team’s shared mailbox
• Handle ad hoc duties as required, including setting up new customer accounts

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a credit control role

• Experience using SAP

• Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities

• Intermediate MS Excel skills

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills

• Confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain relationships
