Administration Support I

Position: Production Administrator role.

Location: Knowsley, Liverpool

The role

  • Liaise with operations, compliance, sales and customer services to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Carry out general administrative duties.
  • Liaise with existing clients and 3rd parties to fulfil customer requirements.
  • To carry out the administration of site SAP requirements.
  • To carry out operational, production and engineering administration needs, such as ordering of materials and maintaining the site SAP system.
  • To ensure that customers’ requirements are met by providing the pivotal link between central customer services, group transport and site operations.
  • To ensure that month-end procedures are completed accurately and on time.
  • To assist with the maintenance and control of the site management systems, to include document control, preparation of data and attending reviews where necessary.
  • To log NCRs, and to assist in their resolution, completing & filing NCR documents, liaising with relevant personnel.
  • To assist in the preparation of SHEQ data for quarterly/annual reviews.
  • To ensure that customers requirements and environment agency data requirements are met (e.g. tracking waste movements for TFS, preparing data for accurate submissions).

The person

Essential Skills:

 

  • Experience in the waste industry, both hazardous and non-hazardous is desirable.
  • Experience of waste legislation: consignment notes, EWC codes, permit & SIC numbers etc is desirable.
  • Good Communications Skills.
  • Flexible team player
  • Use of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Good organisational and telephone skills 
  • Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience of SAP
  • Previous administrative experience.
