Tank Cleaner I

The Opportunity

Tradebe is looking for a tank cleaner to provide tank cleaning and remediation services to refineries and chemical plants. 

Key Job Responsibilities

 •   Cleaning tanks and equipment  
•    Perform routine maintenance on the equipment. 
•    Provide labor for remediation activities.  
•    Respond to emergencies. 
•    Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

•    High school diploma or GED. 
•    Experience with on-site operation of Tank Cleaning in a chemical plant or refinery.   
•    Valid driver’s license or State I.D, 
•    Must be able to obtain a TWIC Card.  
•    Must be able to travel (most projects require out of town travel ) 
•    Must have 40 hour HAZWoper training. 
•    Must successfully complete appropriate agency background investigation. 
•    Must be able to obtain clearance into DOD, DOE and DOC facilities. 
•    Must successfully pass a company physical. 
•    Must be able to wear a respirator. 
•    Must be able to physically perform duties while wearing person protective equipment. 
•    Minimum of one (1) year experience deconing equipment before it leaves the job site. 
•    Minimum one (1) experience cleaning above ground tanks at refineries. 
•    Must follow all Tradebe and the Customer safety policies and do JSA and job audits on your jobs. 
•    Good written and verbal communication skills
