At Cosmos Aromática, we are looking for a talented and experienced Flavorist to lead the development and optimization of our products. Your Mission: You will be responsible for the development of new flavors, both as part of innovation projects and in response to client requests or specifications. Your work will directly contribute to creating unique sensory experiences.
What You'll Do Day-to-Day:
• Development and Innovation: You will create new flavors and arrange for the shipment of the resulting product to our clients.
• Portfolio Management: You will maintain and adapt our existing flavor portfolio, addressing special technical and market requirements.
• Quality Control: You will perform organoleptic and/or chromatographic acceptance/rejection of raw materials (PM’s), intermediates, and PA’s with doubts. You will also collaborate with the Quality Control department on the organoleptic control of raw materials and/or final product.
• Technical Support: You will collaborate with the technical department for beverage applications in their design and/or organoleptic profile. You will provide technical assistance to the Production and Core departments and advise clients through the Commercial Department.
• Management and Compliance: You will be responsible for the maintenance of laboratory equipment and tools, necessary databases, and bibliography, and you will prepare technical instructions. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with all technical legislation covering the sector and food safety guidelines indicated in the management system.
• Production: You will participate in pilot plant fabrications.
What We Are Looking For in You:
• Education: Higher technical academic degree and at least two years of experience in a similar position.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of Organic Chemistry.
• Languages: Advanced level of English (minimum technical level) is essential. Knowledge of French is a highly valued advantage, but it is not mandatory for the position.
• IT Skills: Proficiency in computer programs (Office suite and other systems).
• Key Competencies: You are characterized by your ability to work in a team, initiative, customer orientation, and achievement orientation.
You Will Work Closely With:
• Internally: The company's Production and Commercial departments for documentation requests/delivery and/or technical support.
• Externally: Suppliers, clients, and industry associations.
