HGV Driver

Location - Invergordon

Shift Pattern - Monday to Friday (07:00 - 15:30)

To operate a chain lift skip lorry (and trailer when required) safely and efficiently, delivering high-quality service to customers while ensuring full compliance with road safety and transport legislation. The role involves following pre-planned work schedules, maintaining high safety standards, and representing the company professionally at all times.

You will be allocated your own new, high-spec vehicle, with daily schedules sent to your phone the previous evening.

Role Responsibilites:

Comply with all road safety regulations and transport legislation
Conduct daily walk-around vehicle checks in line with legal and company requirements
Manage tachograph records in accordance with legislation
Flexibly operate hook loaders, bin lorries, and vans to provide cover when required
Be willing to work overtime when necessary
Complete all daily paperwork accurately and on time
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of your allocated vehicle
Undertake all mandatory training required for the role
Assist with occasional yard duties
Report incidents in accordance with company procedures

Do you have what it takes?

Experience required:

Full driving License
HGV C+E License
Driver CPC
Experience in chain lift skip lorry & hook loader preferred but not essential as full training will be given
Experience in waste logistics preferred but not essential as full training will be given
Experience with towing a trailer
