Field Service Business Development Manager

As a Field Services Business Development Manager, you’ll put your environmental field service experience to work by helping expand field service projects across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. This is a hunter role for someone who knows the industry, understands the work on the ground, and is ready to turn that knowledge into new business. You’ll have the chance to build relationships, win projects, and make a direct impact on the company’s growth while shaping the future of field services.
Key Job Responsibilities
Business Growth & Development
- Lead business development efforts aligned with company strategy to expand field service projects.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, partnerships, and contracts.
- Manage complex negotiations and collaborate with legal counsel as needed.
Strategic Analysis & Partnerships
- Conduct market research and financial analysis to guide growth initiatives, acquisitions, and partnerships.
- Develop financial models to evaluate new ventures and potential deals.
- Partner with contractors, stakeholders, and leadership to assess and execute growth opportunities.
Deal Execution
- Develop and execute negotiating strategies that balance risk, opportunity, and alignment with company goals.
- Coordinate requirements and integrate contract terms into operations to ensure smooth deal closure.
Industry Leadership
- Track industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Represent the company with professionalism and credibility through client meetings, presentations, and networking.
- Contribute to the reputation and culture of the business development team by setting a standard of excellence.
Do you have what it takes?
Experience & Expertise
- 10+ years of experience in environmental field services.
- Proven background in financial modeling, market analysis, and project management.
- Strong financial management and business analysis skills.
Skills & Attributes
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently.
- Skilled in public speaking and professional presentations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to travel up to 50% (25% overnight).
