Opportunity Highlights

Location: East Chicago, IN
Schedule/Shift: Mon-Fri/1st shift – 6:00am-2:30pm
Pay starting at $19/hr
Paid Weekly

What will you do? Make an impact!

As a Lab Pack Plant Technician, you will be assisting the Lab Pack Plant Chemist in sampling, packaging and labelling hazardous wastes for transportation and disposal.

Key Job Responsibilities

De-pack lab pack quantities.
Obtain samples from drums and sample in-house created material.
Load and offload trucks.
Pour-off/bulk up lab pack materials.
Complete all regulatory paperwork to ensure environmental compliance with all environmental regulations and internal procedures.
Uphold Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance by ensuring all operations adhere to relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies, while fostering a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
Respond to spills and other emergencies.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Do you have what it takes?

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Hazardous waste experience a plus
Experience operating a forklift preferred
