Base Pay: $21.00/hr + Shift Differential $1.00
4th Shift | Weekends + two additional week days (typically working 10 hour shifts)

What will you do? Make an impact!

As a Lab Chemist at Tradebe, you'll play a vital role in supporting safe and compliant environmental operations by analyzing hazardous waste samples at our East Chicago plant. This is a great opportunity for early-career professionals or individuals with a strong chemistry background who want hands-on lab experience in an industrial setting.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Perform chemical testing on waste samples, including pH, titration, oxidation, and moisture content
Analyze samples using fuel compatibility tests, bomb calorimetry, GC, and metals analysis
Calibrate lab equipment daily and support maintenance and troubleshooting of instruments
Follow EPA testing standards and ensure compliance with all EHS policies
Safely manage lab waste disposal and maintain adequate supplies
Keep the lab clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols
Other duties as assigned

Do you have what it takes?

High school diploma and strong understanding of chemistry
Comfortable working with hazardous materials using proper PPE
Able to wear a face respirator when required
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Coursework or degree in a science-related field is a plus
Willing to work on-site in an industrial lab setting
