Opportunity Highlights

Pay: $19-21/hr based on skills and experience
Location: East Chicago, Indiana
1st shift 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Weekly pay included for all employees

What will you do? Make an impact!

Join Tradebe as a Facility Technician and help keep a busy industrial plant running smoothly. This role is a great fit for hands-on workers, early-career maintenance professionals, and anyone who enjoys active, reliable work in a facility environment.

Key Job Responsibilities

Support a safe, compliant workplace by following all environmental, health, and safety policies
Maintain overall cleanliness of plant and facility areas
Perform light maintenance such as basic plumbing, changing lights, and simple carpentry
Operate power tools and painting equipment safely
Manage trash removal, snow clearing, and salt spreading
Clean shared spaces including lunchrooms, locker rooms, and parking lots
Assist office personnel with lifting and moving items
Other duties as assigned

Do you have what it takes?

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior janitorial, cleaning, or maintenance experience preferred
Willing to bring or obtain basic carpentry tools (e.g., drill, impact driver)
Ability to read and follow SOPs and other operational documents
Comfortable with basic math
Able to work the assigned schedule and remain on-site
Able to read, write, and understand English
Physically able to walk, stand, crawl, kneel, lift, reach, push, and pull
