- Shift: 2nd Shift | Mon-Fri | 3pm-11:30pm
- Pay: $22-$23.50/hr based on experience

What will you do? Make an impact!
As a Lab Pack Plant Chemist, you will be receiving, identifying, and de-packing lab packs as they enter the facility.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, sort, and de-pack lab pack materials in a fast-paced industrial hazardous waste processing facility.
- Apply chemistry knowledge to classify, characterize, and safely manage a wide variety of chemical and hazardous waste streams.
- Perform bulk consolidations, material transfers, sampling activities, and container management in accordance with environmental regulations and company procedures.
- Prepare, package, label, and document hazardous waste shipments for transportation, treatment, recycling, and disposal.
- Complete regulatory documentation and maintain compliance with EPA, DOT, OSHA, and company requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections of work areas, containers, and equipment to ensure safe and compliant operations.
- Support spill response activities and contribute to a strong culture of environmental, health, and safety excellence.
Do you have what it takes?
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related scientific field; equivalent industry experience may be considered.
- Previous experience working with chemicals, hazardous materials, laboratory operations, or environmental services is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately identify, classify, and document materials.
- Ability to work safely in an industrial environment while following established safety procedures and utilizing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Comfortable performing hands-on work, including material handling, sampling, packaging, and waste management activities.
- Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to work the assigned schedule and perform all duties on-site.
