Opportunity Highlights

Location: East Chicago, IN
Schedule/Shift: Mon-Friday | 7am-3:30pm
Compensation: $16/hr

What will you do? Make an impact!

As a Filing Clerk, you will help keep important records organized and accurate to support daily operations. This role involves filing documents, reviewing manifests, entering data, and helping maintain inventory records. Attention to detail and strong organization are key to success in this role.

Key Job Responsibilities

File, organize, and retrieve company records (physical and electronic).
Review waste manifests and verify information such as DOT descriptions and waste codes.
Maintain organized filing systems and keep records current.
Enter and update data in company systems.
Process waste out of inventory and maintain accurate database records.
Contact customers to locate missing manifests when needed.
Follow Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Do you have what it takes?

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organization.
Comfortable entering and working with large amounts of data.
Ability to follow SOPs and operational documents.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to work on-site and follow the assigned schedule.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
