Opportunity Highlights

Base Pay: $18.90/hr
After 90 days: $19.06/hr
Operator Pay: $.75
Shift:1st Shift - Monday - Friday 07:00am to 03:30pm

The Opportunity

Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in drum storage and processing areas at a Tradebe plant, ensuring the proper handling, staging, and processing of materials in compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Job Responsibilities

Unload incoming trailers and process waste streams
Place or locate material in proper staging/storage areas
Prepare material for processing operations
Perform processing operations as needed
Accurately track drum storage, and handle movements on tracking sheets as needed
Required to perform daily inspections on the forklifts
Simple maintenance activities such as cleaning and adding fluids are required

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in operating a forklift.
Knowledge of the hazardous waste industry is a plus.
Ability to read, understand, and apply common operational documents and SOPs.
Proficiency in basic mathematical concepts.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to wear a respirator when required (must be clean-shaven to ensure a proper seal).
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
Ability to work the schedule for which you are hired for
Ability to work on-site as described in the job description
Ability to read, write, and understand English
