Tradebe is seeking a strategic and commercially driven leader to shape the future of our Lab Pack and containerized waste business. As Director of Lab Pack Business, you will own the long-term vision, growth roadmap, market positioning, and profitability strategy across regions, operating divisions, technologies, and service offerings.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who can move confidently between strategy and execution, build alignment across a complex organization, and strengthen Tradebe’s position as a recognized leader in environmental services and waste management.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Strategy and growth: Own the strategic vision, growth roadmap, market positioning, annual planning, forecasting, and business reviews for the Lab Pack offering.
- Revenue and market expansion: Partner with Sales, Operations, Business Operations, and Marketing to deliver profitable growth, expand into new markets, strengthen strategic accounts, and develop new services and partnerships.
- Customer and industry leadership: Build executive-level customer relationships, support proposals and contract negotiations, serve as a trusted industry advisor, and represent Tradebe at conferences and professional forums.
- Operational consistency: Drive consistent service delivery, quality standards, operational excellence, customer experience, and process improvement across all regions.
- Financial performance: Lead revenue, profitability, margin improvement, pricing strategy, investment planning, and performance accountability for the business offering.
- Innovation and technical leadership: Advance technical growth, standardization, sustainability solutions, service innovation, and responses to evolving customer and regulatory needs.
- People leadership and influence: Lead and develop a team of 10-12 while building alignment across regional leaders, sales teams, operations teams, and corporate functions.
Do you have what it takes?
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Chemistry, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in environmental services, waste management, industrial services, hazardous waste, environmental consulting, sustainability services, or a related industry.
- Demonstrated success leading a business offering, operating division, region, or market segment and delivering measurable revenue and profitability results.
- Deep knowledge of environmental regulations, waste management practices, treatment technologies, recycling, sustainability, and industry trends.
- Strong P&L, financial planning, pricing, business planning, and commercial acumen.
- Executive-level communication, presentation, negotiation, relationship management, and influencing skills.
- The ability to lead directly and through influence in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Willingness to travel 30-50% to support customers, operations, and business development activities.
What Does the Interview Process Look Like?

- Selected candidates who have completed the application will be invited to schedule a 30-minute screening call via Teams with of our talented Recruiters.
- Next, the candidate will be invited to a one-hour interview with the EVP, Commercial and Business Operations.
- Next, candidates will be scheduled for a one-hour interview with 2-6 team members representing cross-functional peers and business partners and/or stakeholders and the Commercial and Business Operations Leadership team or core team members and the Commercial HRBP.
- Next, the candidate will be invited to a 30-minute interview with the VP, People and Culture.
- Finally, the candidate may be invited to a 30-minute interview with the CEO and/or President.
