Contract System Manager

As a Contract System Manager, you’ll take ownership of our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system and help drive efficient, compliant contract processes across Commercial, Operations, and Legal teams. This is an opportunity to shape best practices, strengthen compliance, and ensure smooth contract execution that supports the success of the business. If you thrive on detail, collaboration, and problem-solving in a regulated industry, this role offers the chance to be both a subject matter expert and a trusted business partner.

 

Key Job Responsibilities

 

  • Manage and optimize the CLM system, ensuring contracts are accurate, compliant, and efficiently processed.
  • Oversee contract workflows, coordinating across departments to keep timelines on track.
  • Draft, review, and edit contract documents, ensuring alignment with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor compliance and performance, proactively addressing risks or issues.
  • Provide contract reporting and insights on key metrics such as renewals, deadlines, and overall pipeline health.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and external parties on negotiations and amendments.
  • Champion adoption of contract management best practices through training, process improvements, and system enhancements.
  • Support contract excellence by maintaining accurate records, developing training resources, and fostering a culture of consistency and accountability.

Do you have what it takes?

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, Law, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing contract workflows, compliance, and documentation.
  • Industry background in environmental services or waste materials management.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, compliance standards, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with CLM systems or similar contract management tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Skilled communicator and collaborator with proven problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations, waste management compliance, and RCRA/waste profiling (preferred).
