Broker Account Manager

Tradebe is seeking individuals with a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and a sense of pride in their work to join our U.S. inside sales team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining our current customer base, growing broker accounts to achieve desired sales objectives and goals within specified time frames, and effectively utilizing our information management systems to track revenues and provide weekly updates. Additionally, this individual will be accountable for meeting sales goals and objectives set by the Director of Sales, managing a book of broker accounts, and developing meaningful relationships with their customer base.
Candidates must be located in or near Connecticut.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with mid-sized brokers.
- Cultivate, secure, and sustain relationships with assigned accounts.
- Serve as a liaison and environmental resource between Tradebe and its customers.
Sales Growth & Lead Generation
- Strategically drive revenue growth by leveraging Tradebe’s full range of offerings.
- Generate new leads and convert them into long-term customers.
- Follow up on both cold and warm leads to advance the sales process.
- Follow up on quotations and bids to close new business.
- Present multi-lines of services and drive customer growth.
Customer Support
- Assist customers with profiling, quoting, and resolving issues.
- Demonstrate and explain products or services to customers.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of Tradebe’s service capabilities to effectively communicate and educate customers and prospects.
Reporting & Documentation
- Accurately document all sales activities in CRM software.
- Complete all required reporting promptly and accurately.
- Set and achieve sales goals and objectives established by leadership.
Do you have what it takes?
Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Environmental is preferred, but other degrees and/or industry experience will be considered
Experience:
- Previous experience and proven success in sales
- Must have a working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; and must have knowledge of an information management system
- Must be able to work in a team environment and effectively collaborate with other departments
- Previous experience with CRM software is preferred
Skills:
- Strong influencing skills and ability to assist an Inside Sales Representative in closing a sale.
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to travel to customer sites and Tradebe locations
