Applications Technician Beverages

Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Flavour Application Technician to join our dynamic team in COSMOS Aromática in Spain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flavour application and formulation of beverages, with a minimum of three years of experience in the flavour or beverage industry. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and a passion for beverage development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize application formulations for a variety of applications, including  mainly beverages, but also dairy, confectionery, and baked goods.
• Conduct sensory evaluations and consumer testing to assess the efficacy of flavour applications.
• Work with our Sales and Marketing departments to develop product demonstrations and ideation sessions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any flavour application issues, ensuring consistency and quality in final products.
• Maintain accurate records of formulations and testing results and contribute to the continuous improvement of flavour application processes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the flavour, food, or beverage industry.
• Strong technical understanding of flavour chemistry, formulation, and application methods.
• Experience with sensory evaluation and consumer testing methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools for formulation and data analysis.
